letter to a friend

In the Language class we were told to write a letter to a friend, answering to a letter he has send as before, we had read and analized before writing it, in class. 

Hello David!

How are you? I really loved spending a day with you, I don’t have any problem in repeating it. My family says you are really funny and I think they kind of enjoy having you here too.

You should stay longer next time .Maybe, we could go to the cinema together, I heard there are a lot of new cool movies, in the new cinema they opened at the shopping.

Please, send me those beautiful pictures you took, so I can publish some on instagram. I love the one we took near the lake with all those trees, when we were climbing up that big one, do you remember? It was really fun.

It would be great to stay in your house soon. Let’s arrange later!

The last trip toghether

THE LAST TRIP TOGETHER

In the FCE writing practice, we were told to write a story starting with the sentence “When he found his seat on the plane, Sam recognized the person who was sitting in the seat next to him” and using 2 simple past sentences, 2 past continuous, 2 past perfect sentences, 3 examples of directed speech, 6 connectors, 7 descriptive adjectives and everything between 120-180 words.

When he found his seat on the plane, Sam recognized the person who was sitting in the seat next to him, he could recognize  her for that beautiful brown hair beside her charming blue eyes; “hi dad” she said, but Sam thought he would not see her again, as he hadn’t seen her in five years when she turned twenty. “Hi” he said.

They were both traveling on business,  in that huge, white and cold plane, where something strange, seemed to happen “What are you traveling for?” he asked. There was an awkward silence for a while. “I have an important mission” her daughter answered, “What kind of mission? , “You look tense” Sam said; “A secret mission”  “I work for the FBI” the agent whispered. The father was shocked, he had no words therefore the daughter asked “Ok, What are you traveling for?” , He rapidly changed the conversation “Have you seen the news?”. Consequently the daughter exclaimed “Dad! You didn’t answer!” as a consequence the man looked at her with lifeless eyes.

“It was a pleasure to meet you” “That’s why it is difficult for me to do this” He said. “Dad! What are you talking about?”She asked.  “I’m so sorry” Sam whispered. Everything exploded by a powerful bomb.
